Due to a technical glitch on the GST Portal, the taxpayers are unable to furnish the return GSTR-3B for the month of April 2022 on time. The Central Government directed Infosys to look after the matter as soon as possible. The deadline for filing the GST forms (GSTR-3B) has been extended till 24th May of the present year.
Central Board of Indirect tax and Customs (CBIC) further added in their official Twitter handle: “The due date for filing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of April 2022 has been extended till 24th May 2022”
Further GSTN issued an advisory stating that: “It has been noticed that in a few cases, certain records are not reflected in the GSTR-2B statement for the period of April 2022. However, such records are visible in the GSTR-2A of such recipients. The technical team is working to resolve this issue for the impacted taxpayers and generate fresh GSTR-2B at the earliest”
Infosys assured us that the matter will be resolved as soon as possible.
