The rate of Un-employment has magnified due to the outburst of COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. Since, 22nd March 2020 a world-wide lockdown was announced and was edict with the closure of commercial, private and industrial establishments (with exceptions) has been extended. The major challenge that India faced from migrant workers

Several countries have given protection measures to support migrant workers.

However, what was observed mostly that the pandemic has seen a change in the attitude of the people concerning giving priority to mental and physical health, sanitization, cleanliness, personal hygiene and most importantly wet markets. Therefore, we need to check on the regulations put forth by the government and follow them strictly.

Changes in the Working Pattern

Working Pattern has changed across the globe whether it is skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled. The work that was considered not done while sitting at home is now taking a new dimension as every sector. On one side, as the pandemic has taken the jobs of many, on the other hand, there are a lot of individuals are getting jobs.

 Result of the pandemic:

Bright side: It is comforting to learn that every work has been diversified. As many companies have taken the work from the home, as it opens up opportunities to many individuals.

 

Down-side: While the drawback is that, those who do not fall in the sector where work from home is an option, they either lost their jobs or are being asked to work with half or no salary being paid. This is not only the case with India but with every country across the globe.

 

Job losses and economic malaise in India has left an impact of the coronavirus and it continues to batter almost every sector. Experts say recovery will be long and difficult road as the show that India's GDP contracted by 23.9% from April to June. Due to which the informal economy is also feeling the heat with thousands of small-scale traders and hawkers shutting shop. Hoping to come into terms with COVID-19 it in the next few years.
